It is a small understated cafe that is full of energy and incredible food. On first glance of their single page menu I was quite surprised of their simple yet complex options (It is not just bacon and eggs here) and I found myself struggling to decided on what to have because is all sounded delicious and my kind of food.
Anyway after a while of contemplating my choices the dish that I ordered was the Smashed Avo on Quinoa Loaf with Poached Free Range Eggs, Saganaki, Dukkah and Lemon.
This dish would have to be one of the best breakfast's I have ever had. What I loved about it was the smashed avocado had flavour. Quite often I order Avo on Toast and it is bland and crying for a squeeze of lemon and a dash of S+P , but Thankfully Sardi totally nailed it. It also came with Saganaki, which is a fried greek salty cheese and yes it was quite indulgent but for one who exercises most of the day and eats whole foods 99% of the time, I think I deserve a bit of a treat. Also did I mention that the eggs were poached to perfection!

Thank you Sardi!
