I used to think that bliss balls were totally overrated, but I've started to realise that these power house balls can be something quite exciting!
My Matcha Bliss Balls with Coconut & Cranberries combine the usual nut and date base with added coconut and cranberries to take the recipe to the next step.
To transforming the bliss balls I add matcha powder with a dash of chia seeds and maple syrup for good measure.

1 mug cashews
1/2 mug coconut flakes + extra for rolling
1 mug medjool dates, pitted
1/4 mug dried cranberries
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp matcha powder (I use Matcha Maiden )
1 tbsp chia seeds
In a food processor, process the cashews and coconut flakes until a flour.
Add the remaining ingredients and process until a dough is formed.
Roll into balls and coat with extra shredded coconut.
Store bliss balls in an air tight container in the refrigerator or freezer for an ever ready snack. Makes 12 Bliss Balls
